The Inspiration Behind Hairy Hound Deeni

The story of Hairy Hound Deeni began with an extraordinary dog who was re-homed from the dog pound. This clever, resourceful pup could never bear to be left alone, always finding creative ways to escape any room he was left in. Inspired by his determination and spirit, we created the character Deeni—a heroic, magical hound who helps his friends above all else.

Our Mission

At Hairy Hound Deeni, our goal is simple: to share the enchanting adventures of the Great Hairy Hound Deeni through our YouTube video and beloved book series. These stories are designed to spark children’s imaginations, nurture their love for reading, and bring families closer together through shared moments of fun and discovery.

The Hairy Hound Deeni series is lovingly written by Barry Barnes, who hails from the UK. These stories and songs have been tested and adored by the youngest members of his family, ensuring they are engaging, entertaining, and downright magical. To make the books even more special, the first 100 copies of each chapter will be personally signed by Barry.
